Our goal is to create a movement that helps spread awareness of the many historical contributions of Black Americans. We know that these contributions are often overlooked and left out of American history books, keeping the majority of Americans uninformed and misguided.
Knowledge in fact is power. Therefore it is truly empowering to learn about what Black people in the USA have been able to accomplish despite institutionalized racism and other atrocities. May all concerned harness the courage and ingenuity of these figures as we take action by educating the American populace and beyond, and by demanding justice and equal rights for all.
